It is a computing area for the creation and use of software engineering principles. It consists of applying a systematic, disciplined and quantifiable approach to the development, operation and maintenance of software.
It is the art and science of generating visual representations of the various aspects of software and its development process. Its purpose is to help understand software systems and improve the productivity of the development process.
It is intrinsically related to visualization and allows the user to have contact with the information. In virtual and augmented reality systems, it provides the feeling of presence in virtual environments.

SoftVisInt
Project
SoftVisInt Project deals with Visualization and Interaction in Software Development, considering that people are always looking for innovative ways to access and manipulate information.
In environments with varied tasks, interpreting the large amount of information available turns out to be a complex goal. Thus, information visualization techniques and resources become interesting alternatives to follow the results in this type of situation.
